Is There Only One Way?

Is There Only One Way?

Deconstruction - Week 3

Is There Only One Way?

There’s something about the exclusive claims of Jesus—“I am THE way, THE truth, and THE life…”—that gets under people’s skin. For those of us who get hung up on the exclusivity of the Christian faith, Chase Gardner spends week 3 pointing to the radical inclusivity we may have overlooked.

Message Notes:

How can Christianity be exclusive while also being about radical inclusion?

After Peter and John heal a man lame from birth in the Name of Jesus Christ, they are confronted by religious leaders.

Acts 4:1-3 (NLT)

Acts 4:5-6 (NLT)

Acts 4:7-22 (NLT)

Christians preach about Jesus not because they are smarter or more intelligent but because they have to share how Jesus saved them.

Acts 4:13 (NLT)

Acts 4:20 (NLT)

Being a Christian doesn't mean someone is morally better than anyone else.

Acts 3:12 (NLT)

Jesus taught us that, unlike every other religion in the world, there is no set of actions humans can do to reach God.

There’s one solution (Jesus) because there’s one problem (sin) in this world.
